BRIX Promotes Craig Erlich to CEO
BRIX Holdings, LLC, the Dallas-based holding company of quick service restaurant franchisors such as Red Mango, Super Salad, Smoothie Factory and RedBrick Pizza, announced Monday that it has appointed Craig Erlich as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Joe Vitrano was the previous chief executive. In 2014 the newly formed BRIX Holdings appointed him as its CEO. Vitrano stepped down as chief executive at the end of 2014. BRIX operated without a CEO since then until now.
The new CEO, Erlich, has served as president and chief operating officer of BRIX since 2016 and served in Red Mango from March 2013. Before joining BRIX Holdings, he was an executive for CVS Pharmacy and Jo-Ann Stores, Inc., a specialty retailer. Erlich set up franchisee advisory councils to provide store-level input to BRIX's franchising firms as well as updated store designs for Red Mango, Smoothie Factory, RedBrick Pizza, and Souper Salad chains.
“As CEO, I look forward to coordinating all of the resources of the company to achieve our growth objectives and to better support our franchisees,” says Erlich.
